Born and raised in the U.S. and now based in Spain, I’ve dedicated my career to helping professionals feel confident speaking English in high-stakes situations. I understand firsthand how language can either open doors or hold people back. Through my work, I focus on building real IMPERFECT communication skills so my clients can lead meetings, present ideas, and connect internationally. I’m passionate about creating environments where people feel safe to speak, take risks, and grow quickly. #welovemistakes Eager to meet each and every one of you. He is Managing Partner at Cultiv, a communications, creativity, innovation and event organisation consultancy and training company. He is the author of the book "Impacto – Como Comunicar em Público" (Penguin Random House, 2019), in which he draws on his extensive experience in public speaking and presentation training. He is the organizer of TEDxPorto, the largest TEDx event in Portugal, which brings some of the best ideas from the city and around the world to a stage in Porto. TEDxPorto was one of the first events to receive a license in 2009 and has been awarded the TEDx Legacy license in November 2024. He has organised and spoken at over 280 TEDx events, Ignite events, speech competitions, creative sessions, strategic workshops, among many others. He has given talks at TEDxLuanda (Angola) in 2013, and TEDxMarvila (Portugal) and TEDxUDESC (Brazil) in 2024.
