Keynote speakers
MEET OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

A Toastmaster since 2006, DTM Morag Mathieson has served in leadership roles from her home club in Germany, across District leadership in Continental Europe, to supporting districts in Europe, Middle East and Africa. She served as International President in 2023 - 2024 at the launch of the Toastmasters Centennial year. Professionally, she is a pharmacist who has specialized in professional development and has been a leader in several non-profit organizations. She is passionate about seeing people grow in confidence and competence to change their world. Originally from Scotland she lives in germany with her husband David, also a Toastmaster.

Francesco discovered Toastmasters International in 2011 and immediatley became an active member of Toastmasters Roma, Italy. He earned two Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) awards, served in all club officer roles, chartered four clubs, and founded an advanced club. A district leader for six years, he was the first District Director of District 109 (2018–2019), leading it to Smedley Distinguished status. He later served two years as Region Advisor for Region 10 (2021–2023), supporting all European districts, and is currently the International Director for Region 10 on the Toastmasters International Board of Directors. Professionally, Francesco is a trainer, company manager, and coordinator of EU-funded research projects. He lives in Rome, Italy.
